Reality Bites: BBW and RHOA Drama

Last night I had an official Basketball Wives catch up and I witnessed the “Reality TV Slap of the year” as Jennifer Williams was smacked in the face by Evelyn Lozado’s assistant Nia Crooks during a confrontation at the horse race (if you don’t know who or what i’m talking about then this here post isn’t for you).

I haven’t seen anyone get hit so hard in the face since Tami Roman smacked the other chick (I apologise I have completely forgotten her name) in the face last season.

This hasn’t been Jennifer’s season so far because she jus stays getting hit in the head. We all know that Jennifer was born bougie and knows nothing about scrapping chicks on the side of the street because she clearly “ain’t about this life”.

Jennifer is reportedly “traumatized” by the situation and has filed a law suit against Nia. Although the ladies don’t like each other, they sure do have each other’s back and are reportedly ready to boycott the reunion show if Jennifer attends. The ladies do not feel comfortable with Jennifer throwing lawsuits around.

This is going to get very interesting,  have my popcorn and sprite on the ready.

In other reality news,

part 1 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion show hit the airwaves days ago and it was everything the whole season was not. If you missed it, you missed out (but i’m sure you can check it out somewhere online).

There was a lot covered from Kandi’s new man to Sheree’s child support battle and her financial problems. Nene and all that eye-rolling and side eye throwing…shade throwing at it’s best.

Now for those of you who think Sheree Whittfield (pictured below) really needs to learn how to just be quiet and stop throwing people under the bus, no need to worry because she has confirmed that she won’t be back for the next season.

She tweeted yesterday:

Yes it is official I’m leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta. I enjoyed my time working with everyone affiliated with the show.

Apparently the show has taken a turn for the worse and no longer caters to her lifestyle.  She released a statement saying:

“After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness.”

“I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect. I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I’m thrilled to say I’m now a free agent and am already fielding offers.”

So in other words the cattiness she participated in the past four seasons was cool until they started reading her cover to cover at the reunion show.

Can’t wait for part two of the reunion show.
