Nigerian Kings of Comedy

I love to laugh and I love comedy and last night I got a chance to laugh until my heart was content.

Last night at the Indigo2 saw the Nigerian Kings of Comedy, Basketmouth, Senator, Dan D Humurous, I Go Save, Buchi, Bovi and I Go Die, rip the stage as the 2,400 capacity hall was filled to the brim and erupting in laughter.

Standouts were comedians Dan D Humurous and Bovi. Their ability to provide laugh after laugh so effortlessly and tell relatable stories, as well as go with the flow and be spontaneous, was unmatched.

All the comedians really did their thing. I Go Die even ended his set with wise words. True to good old Nigerian optimism, he reminded the audience that where and who you are today does not determine where and who you will be tomorrow, so remain humble.

Soon after, Nigeria’s hottest musical exports of the moment, Davido and Flavour Nabania took to the stage to get the crowd rocking and ready for ye after party. Davido performed the hottest song on rotation at the moment, “Dami Duro” an Flavour performed the already classic party starter “Nwa Baby”.

The night was full of Naija Flavour and good vibes, so much so that the host, Basketmouth, decided that everyone was to get free admission into the after party which took place in Proud night club inside the O2.

The show will be coming to Manchester Birdcage tomorrow for valentines day. Manchester get ready to laugh until you crack your ribs.
